This is discrimination based on gender, which violates Freenode's policy, specifically: "We do NOT tolerate discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, gender or sexual preference" -- http://www.freenode.net/policy.shtml I spoke to a member of staff, thumbs, in #freenode who told me to email this address. I was told to try and resolve the situation with the channel founder but I am banned from the channel and cannot access the access list. The ops that I have dealt with in the past do not respond to /msg; presumably they have me on ignore. I also spoke to a member of staff, mist, who told me that they did not have time to discuss Freenode policy. "Misandry Monday" is in essence, hate speech and is a very serious problem. The behaviour of the channel's ops has been noted elsewhere, even by others who are members of groups fighting for equality. SylvieLorxu is one particular user who feels strongly about the channel's policy of misandry and joined me in complaining about their anti-male rhetoric in #freenode. I would like Freenode to instruct the ops in ##feminist to cease discriminating against people based on gender. Yours sincerely, rah -- Bob Ham for (;;) { ++pancakes; }
